Armeta builds the engineering intelligence layer for industry.
Every industrial facility in operation today — every refinery, chemical plant, LNG terminal, power station, pharmaceutical plant, pipeline, and offshore platform — runs on piping and instrumentation diagrams. The P&ID is the master record of the facility. Every pipe, valve, instrument, and safety device appears on it. Every workflow that keeps the facility running safely, compliantly, and profitably depends on reading it.
And in the vast majority of the global installed base, the P&ID exists only as a PDF.
Armeta was founded in 2025 to close this gap. Our extraction engine reads any PDF P&ID — scanned, native, historical, as-built — and produces structured, connected engineering data. The engineering archive that every industrial facility has accumulated over decades becomes a queryable, auditable resource for MTO, MOC, PHA revalidation, LDAR compliance, and every downstream workflow that depends on understanding the drawings.
The company's founding insight is simple but consequential: six decades of CAD software has been built to create P&IDs, and none of it can read the archive that every operating facility already has. The tools that companies like Hexagon, AVEVA, Bentley, and Autodesk have built are authoring tools. Armeta is the extraction layer that sits between the PDF archive and every modern digital workflow.
Who we build for
Armeta serves every role across the industrial value chain that depends on P&IDs — operators managing compliance and turnarounds, EPC contractors bidding and delivering projects, engineering firms handling brownfield revamps, EHS consultants producing audit-defensible compliance evidence, and OEMs structuring their installed-base archives.
