The difference from a generic editor is not the tool palette. It is that fonts, dimensions, line types, hatches, frames, and title blocks belong to the product objects from the first stroke.

Primitives, polylines, multilines, trim, extend, fillet, chamfer, offset, arrays, mirror, stretch, and explode — with object snaps, ortho, polar tracking, dynamic input, and a command line.

Incoming DXF files keep their meaning where possible. Missing fonts and styles are mapped by intent rather than left as empty gaps; entities that cannot transfer are reported, not dropped.

Formatting, completeness, and title-block composition are checked while the sheet is still editable. The issued set is ready for print, PDF, and review against the same normative base.
